Ann's mother, Esther Rose Graber, a watercolorist, has lived in Puerto Rico since 1965 and is well known for her warm and intimate depictions of the Puerto Rican landscape. For more than half a century, her work has appeared in dozens of books, Sunday School periodicals, and other published works from Mennonite Publishing House. In addition, she has done numerous solo and family shows in Puerto Rico and the U.S. She has available for sale both original watercolors and limited edition prints, as noted here.
